RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the Senior Digital Display Ad Manager in the execution of strategic display and video marketing annual plans that integrates with organizational marketing initiatives
  • Consistently reviews web analytics provided by Google Analytics, DoubleClick for Display, marketing mix modeling and digital attribution tools, and agency reporting platforms to identify trends and provide optimization
  • Provides strategic direction and acts as day to day lead to display and video marketing teams and current agencies to ensure established goals are achieved while continuing to broaden program exposure
  • Ownership and management of multi-million dollar budgets (reforecast, accruals, and invoices), creating test scenarios, and implement marketing mix modeling
  • Forecast/reforecast traffic performance of channels based on budgets, updates to strategy, planned testing and attribution tool influences provided to senior eCom leadership team for site revenue and traffic projections
  • Cultivate relationships with category merchandisers, the creative team, the analytics team, merchants, and marketing to ensure key sales drivers have the proper coverage and stay consistent with Academy Sports & Outdoors priorities
  • Optimization of segmentation strategies across regions and markets to drive personalization and customer engagement
  • Partner with key stakeholders to integrate an attribution strategy into display and video marketing’s strategies, with the end goal of driving enterprise ROAS
  • Create 3-5 year plans for channels and testing roadmaps
  • Perform tests that have omni-channel focus and inform on the influence of digital on store traffic
  • Provide support and direction for team members and assist with career development
  • Lead annual and multi-year co-op strategy across premium softline and hardline brands, continue to drive positive year over year multi-million investments beyond current channel support to drive sales impact for brand partners and Academy Sorts & Outdoors
  • Required to learn company policies, procedures, and safety rules

Computer Skills

  • Advanced ppt, excel skills
  • Experience: 5+ years of digital display and video experience required
  • 1+ years of people management preferred
  • Digital Marketing experience preferred
  • Agency management experience required
  • Experience working with Omnichannel teams and managing/contracting digital agencies required

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent years of related work experience required
