Media Analysis Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Analyze and develop market-by-market strategy for reaching AS+O customers as efficiently as possible working with agency partners to select the best geographic targeting options available
  • Work with Regional Managers to ensure the analysis findings supports the needs on the store level
  • Communicate out the analysis details to other teams and engage with them regularly to understand their implementation and feedback on the analysis
  • Work with the insights team to analyze completed campaigns to support future strategies
  • Identify opportunities, develop and implement solutions/tests, and measure impact
  • Partner with the New Store team to determine needs and timelines for implementation of new store grand opening needs and targeting strategies
  • Reinforce the need for media agencies/partners to deliver to Academy’s KPIs successfully and collaborate to make effective decisions
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures, and safety rules
  • Duties may change; team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned

  • Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior
  • Up to 10% domestic travel, overnight stays as needed

Skills: 

Technical skills in market analysis and direct mail buying & planning

  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels both internally and externally
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet and exceed position requirements under minimal direction and supervision, independently and within a team setting
  • Ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environment Responds positively to change, embracing and using new practices or methods to accomplish goals and solve problems
  • Excellent business planning and development skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload in a fast paced, frequently changing environment
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Lotus Notes, or a comparable email system

Experience: 

  • 5+ years of market research/analysis experience

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required
