We have immediate openings for full-time Multi-Media Advertising Consultants (Sales) to focus on new business development in our growing Northeast Houston territories (Cypress/Champions/Tomball areas).
Sell advertising in our local community newspapers and multiple digital product offerings, with an emphasis on new business development.
Manage advertiser relationships with local businesses.
Develop new business including aggressive prospecting, lead generation, and closing.
Meet advertising sales goals.
Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and contracts.
Participate in community events to maintain positive relationships with local advertisers.
Position requires sales experience, proven ability to be accountable for hitting sales goals, good time management skills, strong work ethic, ability to interact professionally with clients, willingness to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented sales environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects. Candidate must possess the ability to work independently as well as work effectively with a sales team.
Experience with media advertising sales is preferable but not required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems is necessary. EOE
