AAF Houston is kicking off the 2027 American Advertising Awards season with a party for Houston’s creative community.

Addy Awards Co-Chairs David Law and John Del Tatto will share a few key updates for the 2027 season, including what’s changing for this year’s Addy Awards gala and award ceremony. They’ll also offer some helpful perspective for anyone planning to enter: what can make an entry stand out and what judges will be watching for when the work comes in.
If you are new to the Addys, the American Advertising Awards celebrate creative excellence in advertising. Houston’s competition is part of the broader American Advertising Awards program, giving local agencies, brands, studios, students, and independent creatives the opportunity to have their work recognized and advance through the competition.
We’ll also share a few chapter updates and reveal the official 2027 American Advertising Awards theme for the first time.
