Associate Partner, Chief Media Officer, Proof Advertising
Ly is an Associate Partner/Chief Media Officer at Proof, an Advertising Age Small Agency of the Year 2012, 2014 & 2016. She majored in Advertising and minored in Art History at Emerson College in Boston. Her 20+ year ad career has been passionately dedicated to all things digital. In 2013, she was nominated as one of Advertising Age's 24 Women to Watch. Ly started at BBDO in LA doing Interactive before most of the advertising industry knew what Interactive was. She built a digital department from the ground up for McCann Erickson in the southwest region. After a dot com stint leading marcom programs client-side, she returned to agency life to service clients like ConocoPhillips, American Greetings, Nestle, Harley, Barbados Tourism, Emirates Airlines and others. For over 8 years, Ly has lead on all digital efforts for Proof's new business and current clients including Subway Restaurants, Visit San Antonio and others. She now leads on all consumer audience outreach planning as Proof's Chief Media Officer.
SVP/Sales, Goodway Group
Luke Andros is a SVP/Sales at the Goodway Group, a leading managed service provider in the programmatic space. He has been with Goodway for the past 9+ years providing online solutions for agencies and clients. With over 30 years of experience in media, Luke has seen the evolution of media consumption. He has experience in both the traditional and online media landscape. His agency experience includes working on such brands as Dodge, McDonalds, Pioneer Electronics and Pizza Hut. On the sales side, he has represented high-profile brands like ESPN and Golf Digest and was a part of the launch team for George Magazine, the political/pop culture magazine founded by John Kennedy Jr. He began selling online solutions in 1995 while at Hachette Filipacchi Magazines and has been hooked ever since. Today, Luke leads a team that provides programmatic solutions for agency and clients in the every-changing online arena.
Chris Ferris, PhD
VP of Marketing, Bubble Up
Chris Ferris, PhD, is the Vice President of Marketing for BubbleUp, a Houston-based digital marketing agency. BubbleUp's clients include Celene Dion, Poison, Luke Bryan, Zac Brown Band, Memorial Hermann Health System, Covia Health, Service Corporation International, Margaritaville, Jimmy Buffett and Kiss. Chris joined BubbleUp in 2016. His client portfolio includes the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University, Cadence Bank, and LandShark Lager. Before working at BubbleUp, Chris was the Chief Marketing Officer for Second MD, a healthcare technology startup. He has also run digital marketing and communications for Texas Children's Hospital and for St. Luke's Episcopal Health System. He started at St. Luke's as a public relations manager, but quickly moved into the digital space in the early 2000s. Chris has a proven track record of moving organizations to embrace new digital technologies to meet evolving customer expectations, including online advertising, live chat, social media and targeted marketing using IP address. He has driven successful marketing and customer engagement activities, including branding, lead generation, public relations, digital marketing and social media. His other past jobs include working in the communications department of the Office of Management and Budget in Washington, DC, and teaching at a public school in New Orleans through Teach for America. Chris has a Masters in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania and a PhD in Health Policy from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Chris has been married for almost 18 years and he has two children who attend Pin Oak Middle School and Lamar High School.
