HOW IT WORKS
Upon arrival, students are put in teams of 10-12. Each group comprises students from more than 20 universities across Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. Our corporate sponsor provides an assignment, and teams head to a local agency, design firm or in-house marketing department to develop a campaign concept. Teams have eight hours to construct a creative campaign, including marketing and media plans and a video presentation. Judges announce the finalists and winning teams on Saturday.
Besides getting great, real-world experience, you’ll have the chance to:
Collaborate (make friends fast)
Perfect creative ideas on short deadlines (don’t expect to have another kind)
Identify industry trends (talk to professionals about new developments in the ad world)
Network (bring your résumé and portfolio for job opportunities)

Need to sharpen your industry knowledge? On Saturday, advertising professionals will answer your questions about the ins and outs of agency life and discuss the skills required to succeed in various roles.
Professors Tour and Dinner:
Faculty members are invited to join an agency/media facility tour to preview new technology used in our advertising and marketing community.
