Amanda Callaway has spent more than 25 years shaping the story and strategy of Harris Health (formerly Harris County Hospital District). As Vice President of Mission Advancement, Amanda has guided the organization through transformative milestones—including a full-scale rebrand that elevated patient trust and satisfaction, followed by a multifaceted campaign culminating in the successful passage of a landmark $2.5B bond measure in early 2023.

Her expertise lies in driving impactful change through marketing, communications, and public engagement. Under her leadership, Harris Health evolved from an entity seen as outdated and bureaucratic to a respected leader in public healthcare. Amanda holds an MBA from Texas Woman’s University and a bachelor’s in psychology from St. Mary’s University. A true Houstonian, she is inspired by the city’s diversity and energy.
